I couldn't stand the ammo consumption x damage ratio. In RE5, without any of the math on display, I can enjoy the SMG. But probably once a long term game is in effect, I'll go right back to slower rate of fire/higher damage guns. Have to see how the inventory works in the long run, and how the vendor options end up coming out (from what I hear it will be in between levels, and the same categories as the last one, +/- a few attachments as before).
Me, I couldn't get enough of the Red 9, the semi rifle, the butterfly, and (of course) the hundred round drum combat shotgun. But I never could get into the smgs or mine thrower. Once the wii version came out, I ditched the rifle since the scope was obsolete, only picking it up for the stage with the thermal enemies. |
