Seriously? Could Ebert possibly in a million years get away with saying that six million Jews died in World War II, for whatever reason and at whatever hands? It's easier than admitting that most of them weren't killed by our troops, which for some reason LIEburrals feel self destructs the whole anti war movement. It was probably not a good idea to try to protest the war by portraying troops as inhuman racist rapist murderers unjustified killing these children murder death kill (also they drink alcohol while playing cards and are racist).

Not really mentioned in any of these reviews: The one "good guy" soldier in this squad who has a conscience is a complete coward (THE ULTIMATE LIBUUUUUUUUUURAL HERO). When one of the raepy dudes, who isn't even wearing his armor, points his gun at him and is like WE'RE GONNA RAEP NOW YOU GET OUT OF HERE, the "good guy" gets out of there and leaves, as if he wasn't in the military and didn't have a gun. And, oh let's just say he was a fictional character written by someone who doesn't know the rules of engagement.
