| Has anyone managed to pull that off? If you do a search for this info, you get a bunch of people going, "HUHHH???" and at least one forum that has some stupid son of a bitch direct the threadstarter to a PS/2 - to - VGA cable. PS/2, as in the old mouse and keyboard plug standard. (Which would be funnier if I didn't think that the kid that replied was honestly unaware.)
I did find one VGA box for the Playstation II that seemed to be what I wanted, but it said I also need some HDTV package, sold separately. The monitor I use for gaming is an old SynchMaster that emits a visible shake when I try to tell it go above 1024x768, so I'm pretty sure if I try to configure it for an "HDTV" mode that it will explode, taking my head clear off. Which would be a little funny, as the game I am trying to finish is Persona 3, but unfortunately I don't think I'll turn into a semi-tangible roc afterwards. the dark and gritty...Ice Cream Jonsey! |
