I recall looking into this and being very sad. If memory serves me right, you need a box capable of taking the the NTSC signal in and then using electronics to convert it to a VGA signal. As in, there's no magic cable pinout to do this, go buy an expensive box of dubious quality.
Searches for "[composite|component] to VGA converter" should take you in the right direction. Also, just to be dicks, our grandfathers ensured that converting a VGA signal to NTSC is dirt easy. Don't misread and buy one of these inexpensive devices, they do not work backwards, lots of gay timing shit, blah blah NERDS.
I'm thinking that a new 19" LCD with VGA and component is probably the same price as the converter. |
