I was going to start a new character once i unlocked insanity or whatever the last difficulty is. They start you off on level 1 for that right? I don't want to have to play as level 61-62 for the whole game. Right now I have Sniper rifle, Electronics and all the tuff guy shit leveled up, and Pistol, which i'm hoping my enemies will see like i'm carrying a tomahawk into the battlefield, I'd have to be a crazy badass to carrying that worthless shit around right? I guess i'm not great at thinking things ahead (see screen name, purchase of wii). If you're the person who gets wet for Final Fantasy (i'm going to go with) XII then i think i should probably get a free pass from being called a faggot.
Probably. I'll have to check on that though.
From what I've seen, all of the weapons are viable, they just require a moderately different build (eg more damage soaking for a shotgun, etc) to use well. The assault rifle is probably overpowered relative to the others, the sniper rifle requires the most leveling before it is useful. Either way, pick one and focus on it, unless you are going for the weapons achievements as a soldier or something. I used mainly the pistol, and it was pretty easy throughout, my wife favored the sniper rifle.
When I saw the force powers didn't have lighting hands or choke i decided they were to gay to bother with, Infiltrator all the way!
Well, the same deal with the tech powers. Focus on getting a few powered up and diversify once you have your primaries taken care of. I prefer offloading tech skills to npcs (usually either Kaidan or the alien cop whatever his name is) because lockpicking is such a crucial part of their skill set and I'll be damned if my Shepard is going to be a damn lockpicker when he could be learning to kill better. Also, I found biotics to be useful on most everyone apart from Asari commandos, and exponentially more useful if you managed it carefully as opposed to letting your retards spam it. They seemed to have better luck using tech on their own.
I care less about reloading a lot than i do about missing out on putting my thumbs into people's eyes, why bother with renegade if i'm doing it half assed? Just going paragon again and saving the bad stuff for female Insanity playthough won't work either, a dominant take-charge woman? Even for future time space games this is absurd
You have to beat hardcore to unlock insanity. You have to play once regular to get hardcore. =3x playthrough, right (just making sure, I know you're probably aware of that)? I'd say you're right about sticking with whatever renegade/paragon option you did originally rather than halfassing the other for your level 60 character. I did both, but I'd already botched one character so I knew exactly how I wanted to set up my new one and could spare the points.
The 75% achievement is negligible compared to the rewards for a lot of other things, but if you want to talk about diminishing returns level 60 is the king of that. Hope you have a strategy guide because you're going to need to complete every last sidequest and I would recommend the mineral hunting as well.
By recommend I mean I would not recommending it in any sane sense, but if you're going to suck that dick, you might as well remember to give the buttcheeks a squeeze and cup the balls and do it right.
Also, you know how the unlocking works, right? Whatever achievement for a skill or weapon you get, you have the option of tacking it on to a new character (one per) where they wouldn't normally have it. Makes a bioticist or engineer a lot more workable if you can add on your favorite weapon. |
