COUNTER by Zsenitan 01/18/2008, 3:44pm PST I took my reroll char out to Desolace to show you how stupid you are. Huntaaard is lvl 30. Lvl 38 scorpid.... gee no problems hitting him, again and again and again and again and again and again and now he's dead! The important thing to note is how fatty fat the life and mana bars are after taking on a mob 8 levels up from the player character. See how there's room for another 2 fights with other level 38 mobs before we get into redline territory? That's different than having the same battle between a level 38 mob and a level 30 mage, which looks like a slaughterhouse with beautiful elf hair all over the floor. Agility works differently than Strength or Int. It's +to-hit for everyone melee and +dmg for huntars (at least ranged, and maybe melee too? Rogues split +dmg between agi and str.) The point is this: hunters hit things nobody else in the game can hit. I consider it a broken game mechanic and it's robbery that clothies have to do crazy stuff to even in the vicinity of a hunter's hit rate. Hunters are admittedly weak at burst damage - except for some MM builds - but they last. (Zseni uses CT Mod to modify the UI. Everything else is faggoty overkill.)
