I played the first level and it looks cute ^_^ because it's like a basic Super Mario type game where you jump on enemies, except you're Peach and you can hit them with your umbrella. All the action happens on the top screen, and the bottom screen is just a picture of Peach with 4 hearts around her, which are her "vibes" (loal) which you can switch to that change her mood. The sad vibe makes Peach cry uncontrollably!!!!!!!!!!!! like any wumin. But actually you use that to water plants so you can climb them, and then there's the insane PMS out of her fuckin gourd vibe which allows her to do damaging things and she becomes engulfed in flames. Then there is the calm vibe, which restores health. The last one is the joy vibe which lets her float.
So far a major part of playing DS games is learning how to use the pad and buttons while having the stylus in one of your hands. It's not too hard, but I have a headache from leaning my head forward to play, and after a while your arms can get tired from having to hold up a DS. At least if you're as out of shape as I am.
I thought it was funny at the beginning where there is some island that Bowser has a summer home built on, and he finds a "powerful artifact" called the Vibe Scepter. Lool. Yes, I bet Peach can't wait to get her hands on that. Get it. I AM IMPLYING IT IS A VIBRATOR AND SHE LIKES MASTURBATING. But really, it sounds like it would be a vibrator. Apparently it isn't though, it's something that you wave through the air and it instantly changes people's moods beyond their control. Right at the beginning they send in some goomba to the mushroom castle, and like 10 seconds later they have Mario, Luigi and Toad all kidnapped by Bowser's army. So it is up to Peach to beat the holy everlovin shit out of every last goomba and koopa conscripted into the Koopa Troopa army.
Also, the coins you collect are actually used as money in this game in the shop to buy new umbrellas, puzzle pieces, or other weird things that have to do with minigames or unlockables. Which is the exact same mechanic used in Wario World 4 for the GBA, which wasn't a bad puzzle/platformer itself. According to a Gamespot review, Super Princess Peach is "too easy" though, which sounds fine to me, I don't want to be held up by too many of these games. It's a fuckin portable anyway, I want mostly nice breezy games, and leave the high pressure shit to a console or PC game. Also Peach is pretty hot. Too bad she's not wearing those soccer shorts like that Mario soccer game. MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM or that was Daisy who is apparently someone else entirely. Whatever. |
