Ubering a heavy and using him as a meat shield is super coordinated?

You said ubering a heavy, waiting until he draws fire from the sentries, then having the rest of the team all rush at once to immediately take out all the sentries that they all know the locations of. Yes, that requires a lot of coordination and people who know what they're doing. A hell of a lot more coordination and skill than defending engineers setting those sentries up. Defenders could just send over an uber of their own to fuck things up. 1 medic + 1 pyro loose in the cage area can fuck up half the attacking team or more compared with 2-3 man attacker teams needed to take on a single engineer's defense in that narrow gap. If the defenders have half the teamwork you're talking about then it's nearly impossible for the attackers to push on that map.

But I've both won and lost it dozens of times, so your team is crap.

Why are you under the impression that I'm part of some corporate sponsored team that plays together all season? This experience has been over dozens of games on dozens of servers with all sorts of people, and I've seen the attackers win that map twice, once "legit" and the other a scout standing on the undefended second point the instant the first was taken. So the entire internet is broken, I guess.

That's phase 3 of the map. There's 3 openings that the attackers come out of.

All of which immediately funnel into the same gap.

The gap you're talking about is a foot and a half long. How is that even a problem?

????

One of the exits comes out right in the middle of it. The defenders have the same gap problem too. Either they hide behind a corner and let the attackers walk right up to within inches of the cap point, or they have to step out into the one area where everyone is going to be shooting.

The second point has a sewer route that still requires you to cross the same narrow wooden bridge at the end so that hardly counts.

It also has a 3rd route to the right of the bridge (if you're running towards the cap point as an attacker). You run inside a building and up some stairs to get to it. You can also rocket/grenade jump from the sewer up to the enemy base. If you do it right, you can be out of sight of the sentries and pick them off if no one notices.

That 3rd (only a 2nd really; the sewer path still comes out at the narrow bridge) route still requires you to run down the narrow corridor (even narrower than the first point). Compared to other maps like granary or the other dusts or whatever that train level is called where the alternate paths actually let you reach your destination different ways instead of a tiny gap that the defending just have to spam rockets and grenades into and it's just a shitty setup. Was it a 1998 TF original or made by Valve?
