about rpgs to avoid. On the 360.
-Blue Dragon demo
Madness. It's hard to believe a nation of people is this far gone. Using the power of the 360 they cram as much non-detail as possible into bland round eyed anime people. Apparently the demo is from several discs (out of 7) into the game, where all your guys have the hook for the game, their shadow dragon familiar. It's shit. Take enough damage or enough time passes and then watch the fmv of a dragon or polar bear pig jump into the air and strike poses. The main bad guy is called Nene and has granny glasses but not in the funny ironic way.
-Eternal Sonata demo
A deal about Chopin and music based something, looks like an afterthought. Enemies drop ballads and you collect them and mix and match to play in towns. No minigame or activity involved, you just hit A and then sit there for 20 seconds. Then you win another ballad. I haven't played an rpg since the terrible FFIX so i'm not sure how innovative or new the fighting system is, but its pretty decent. Its turn based real time, you get 10 seconds to circle around the enemy and bash him awhile before doing your time consuming power smash at the tale end. Graphics are eh, detailed costumes and sword swords not key swords so there's that. I guess this is all rendered moot by unplayable gay looking child characters who exclusively fight evil pumpkins.
I can totally see myself buying this in front of other people who aren't blind and retarded. Microsoft has that HUGE FAGGOT demographic down cold. The T for Teen tag i just noticed is worrisome. If I had teenagers and caught them playing this, i would immediately start beating or molesting them, so as to tell myself that it's all the beating and molesting to blame and not my pristine perfect manly genes.
-Fallout teaser
Awesome. Don't know how they keep cranking out a new version of the ultra high tech fallout armor every game (this is what, v.4?) after the apocalypse, but it's good to know appliances still play inappropriately happy songs before panning out to reveal wasteland.
bonus non 360 game!
The shitty game my brother made on RPG Maker 2 - don't try it, it sucks

I'm fine with RPG elements. I loved SOTN, for example. Noted about AW2. NT by Fussbett 08/19/2007, 1:51pm PDT
