I haven't played an rpg since the terrible FFIX so i'm not sure how innovative or new the fighting system is, but its pretty decent. Its turn based real time, you get 10 seconds to circle around the enemy and bash him awhile before doing your time consuming power smash at the tale end. Graphics are eh, detailed costumes and sword swords not key swords so there's that.
