Ms. Pac-Man
Everyone already owns exactly as many legal copies of Ms. Pac-Man as they need. In fact, if my unlicensed Tengen NES port is still at the bottom of my closet where I left it, I may actually have one too many.
New Rally X
In a move I can only attribute to clerical error, New Rally X has somehow been released on Live Arcade before its inferior precursor, Rally X. Now's your chance to send a message to those fatcats in Redmond by buying something of poor quality without buying something even worse first.
Each of Namco's extremely shitty two-level demos comes with one FREE gamer picture, collect them all. I'm not convinced that a portrait of the S-for-Special flag from New Rally X is worth even zero dollars, but the one of that pink ghost from Ms. Pac-Man kinda looks like Krang, so SCORE.
Castlevania: Symphony of the Night is supposedly coming in February. I still haven't played any of the new Metroid-style 'vanias, and everyone says this is the best, so I'm hoping Digital Eclipse has their best guy on it and I'm also hoping their best guy isn't the same one who did their Street Fighter II Turbo port. |
