It's an old skool shumup of sort, a throwback to the days of Ikari Warriors. You start in a dune buggy with a chain gun, flamethrower, and cannon, each of which is useful against different enemies. At any point you can get out of your car and hoof it . . . in fact this is the way you get some special powerups for the weapons and also get into these underground bunkers. I'm nto sure what's in those bunkers, but they feel like Contra's indoor levels on crack. Laser turrets, exploding barrels, grenade fights down corridors. Also, if your car gets blown up your on foot for a bit until another one spawns.
I'm going to go out on a limb and guess that whatever drug this guy's familiar with, it probably isn't crack :( |
