We have 46 Acers by McMoo The Anti-Drug Cow 05/18/2006, 9:09pm PDT 5 of them have been sent back due to defects. The key for us (because they are for service Techs) is to buy the Acer Advantage 3 year warranty on them. They will warranty everything (dropped, cracked, burned) for 3 years then. I always like the Compaqs my self, but for the 550 bucks or whatever they are now a new Acer is still pretty attractive.
