This is my review for the original, face-rocking, american release of DMC3. You played the Special edition. My review of that is here, and addresses the issues of difficulty and stupid fucking jester.

This is why I worry that DMC4 will be all serious and SUCK. I really like all the clever touches they threw in #3, Videogames are a medium aimed primarily at 12-year olds they so it seems they got a little TOO clever for their own good. This game is a prequel and if they had dante strut around with a giant white afro, muttonchops, and bellbottoms we all would have gotten it. Instead everyone freaks out over the gayness of this:
