If what you're going for is kickass combat and spells and a state-of-the-art infinity engine using the AD&D 3rd edition 100% accurately, look elsewhere.
This game is 100% plot-driven and the entry fee is a long series of fed ex quests at the very beginning.
Pump your WIS and INT to full, drive up your CHA as well, and then worry about those other attributes.
Most of the game is spent reading text. In fact, that's the highlight of the game.
You can defeat the big bad using logic.
Plus the ending is probably the most grown-up ending of any RPG I've ever played which would also be a negative if you're 12 years old. |
