Yeah, I got my wonderful 50001 for $150.

As far as knowing what the model # is, I forget exactly where it's located on the machine (somewhere on the back, it's thin white label) or the box they come in. However, I do remember that at Circuit City, where I bought mine, they were only selling 50001s. I haven't checked this out at other stores though. I might have only wound up getting a 30001 because the first time I bought a PS2, I decided to get a used one.
