Blackhawk backlash! by Fussbett 07/14/2005, 5:53pm PDT Well it's happening, a Blackhawk squad backlash: BLACKHAWK WHORING. That's when you load up a Blackhawk and fly around capping flags or getting kills. #1: You exemplify all that is wrong with people that play this game. You're exploiting, and not only do you know it, you revel in it. Taking pride in ruining 27+ other people's games by abusing an exploit to pad your score with very little skill involved is BS. I hope you're proud. #2: With all the little bugs and such, the main thing that needs to be fixed like pronto is flag capping from helicopters. It totally ruins the game. #3: My squad and I were on Wetlands wednesday night and we saw this exploit being used to good effect. a Full BH was flying all over the map Capping flags in less than 5 secs and we couldn't shoot it down, we'd hit it but it'd just repair in mid-air. #4: It was just hilarious to see the blackhawk hovering and loads of mines coming out. I guess it's a far more legitimate way to point-whore than sitting around stabbing each other. Each of those threads are 12 pages and I'm sure there are more incendiary comments, but I just skimmed. It will be hilarious if Blackhawking becomes stigmatized; the new "camper" or "sniper". Look where that got us: BF2 sniper rifles that can't kill people. I already mentioned that I routinely gravitate to the "cheap" characters in video games who end up being nerfed, and though you could say it's because I'm a cheap player, I say it's that I have good instincts for finding the path of least resistance. Even then it never occured to me to tell my engineer to drop mines out at all the flags.
