Isn't that King's "The Dark Tower?" I think the first one is King's masterpiece, but from 2 on they got terrible. I quit at #4 which was actually the best of the sequels because in his forward King was threatening to use TDT as housekeeping to clear up all the loose ends from every single other novel he's ever written. Including "The Eyes of the Dragon," aka. "the fucking napkins save the day."

I understand he's FINALLY finished. Then again I suspect the titular tower itself will be just as disappointing as all of King's other endings. Opinions?
