I know nothing I say is going to make you believe me - but once again I fucking hate banning people. I do it because unlike Chet ES, V, and I live on a monetary razor's edge so sharp you could split your pubic hairs with it. I can't afford to dick around with lawyers so I have to play preemptive lawyer to the best of my ability. Once my involvement with the site is effectively ended because UNIX knowledge has been supplanted by rather easy-to-use web interfaces for the new admin team (the code is working as of right now barring a few miscellaneous functions), they'll more or less slowly introduce their own rules that fit their budgets and knowledge of the law.
