Why does this happen on messageboards? I mean, Zseni's all crazy so it was obvious why she had to self-ban, because she probably couldn't stay away otherwise and she wanted to. But Alternate789? WTF? The guy posted like once a week, and anyways, the sites all boring and stuff right now anyways. This is like calling the Golf Channel and asking them to cancel your subscription. "But, umm... sir? It comes free with your cable package." "Yes, BUT I CAN'T WATCH IT. PLEASE MAKE IT STOP."
I ask because the same thing happened yesterday on the CM/FM forum. This guy just went completely nuts and started posting porn links all over so that everyone would hate him and he would (presumably) be banned. (They didn't ban him, despite the fact that it's a site frequented by minors. IT'S CRAZY.) I self-banned from POE because I decided there were too many faggots over there. (Sorry K Thor, about all the faggots on your forum.) And it was taking up too much of my day. But I didn't find some way to violate the acceptable use policy to get myself banned.
What up with that?
