I'd be sure to drive one first to get an idea of exactly how unbelieveably slow they are though. Consumer Guide has good reviews written by very boring people, and is a great way to check model differences between cars quickly. In this case, the SC1 was redesigned in '97 for a little more interior room. I'd recommend an SC2 with a manual if you want to merge with highway traffic, ever.
