As for Good and Evil? It doesn't matter. Later in the game you can simply donate at the temple of your choice to shift that alignment either way. Or you can eat tofu instead of live chickens, wear different clothes, etc. You can shift your alignment at any time. Surprising!
Oddly, killing the priests at the temples had no effect on alignment.
All potential replay value is negated by the fact one can, like Morrowind, just continue playing long after the game is over. I don't know why anyone'd want to. Well, you can replay to try approaching the quests differently. The 'optimal' method tends to involve blowing everyone to pieces. Optimal in that it earns you the most experience.
At its core the game is a middling to okay action/rpg with some other things that aren't at its core. Yes. Or if you prefer, an easier Ninja Gaiden with more minigames. |
