See title. I was talking about Xenogears. As you could have deduced from the use of the word "Xenogears" in the paragraph.

And what prompted that conclusion about Xenosaga? The less than six hours of actual playing that you claimed in the forum, the half-assed generalizations about people who don't hate Xenosaga, the complaints about special attack effects that were the standard for RPGs back when WILD ARMS came out, the weak choplogic about Gamespot, the bit about an (unbelivably minor) leaked "surprise" connection between two characters that the game had never even tried to hide (and in which it is entirely not unique, as console RPGs have been giving this kind of shit away since Nei's levels rocketed up in Phantasy Star 2), or a claim to "objectivity" that's about as embarrassing as the fanboys back on Usenet in 1997 who were proving that the N64 was "objectively" better than the PSX because "load times suck and Zelda 64 is (objectively, mind you) the best game ever made"? Except even more so, because at least they had a real point, and this is just a relatively funny review that you're trying to leverage into a credible dismissal of the game?

Oh, and for the record, that scene with "you hadn't noticed" was Allen being a sulky little bitch because Shion couldn't give a shit about him. Which, as they had been harping on that since the opening, is OBJECTIVELY OBVIOUS to anybody who wasn't hitting start+triangle through the entire game. Which therefore means that anybody who has played the game also knows that it's OBJECTIVELY OBVIOUS that your review, while funny, is about as useful for making buying decisions as someone getting their news from the Onion.

Besides, you know damned well that the only objective measurement of game quality is Time to Crate, and you didn't even MENTION that in your review. Unless I missed something off the bat, the TtC is something like four hours (when you get on that second ship), which places above HALF LIFE on that scale.

You're bragging about ass-fucking when all I feel is somebody weakly jerking me off. Give up on this "objective" line and just be happy you wrote a relatively funny review. We'd all be better off.
