That was IT for the ENTIRE length of Crystal Chronicles. You know how in most final fantasy type, menu-driven RPG combat all you do early on is choose "attack" over and over while ocasionally using choosing "item" and healing with a potion, and how you're thinking, "I hope I get to use the cool stuff soon, this is getting pretty boring"? That cool stuff never happens in CC. The RPG elements also manage to bog the game down while providing almost no customization. "Do you want your character to do more damage bonking someone with a stick/charge attack animation or a spell animation (the same thing really)?" is as deep as it gets.
