I opened an GeForce 4 this morning, TV-out and everything. Should I trade it in for an ATI/ram or is this sufficient to push whatever I need pushed anyway? There's no real rush, I'm in the middle of a time-sensitive FTP DL frenzy right now and unlikely to touch the comp for a hardware upgrade until that's done - it'll be four or five days.
Santa was dead fucking on. Stick with what you got, and BUY MORE RAM. Unless you have 384MB or more, it could be the source of the problem. Also might want to check up on virtual memory?
