Made by people who completely missed the point, passed off to some South American company for the technical work, and races being released as $8 each DLC.
Not one single thing was improved, and lots of things were removed or made worse. Starlanes make ship range pointless. Pirates = barbarians and they are incessant. Food used for nothing but population growth. Transferring population is five hundred times more micromanagement tedious. The real time combat is so bereft of input that they might as well have just fully automated it. They put annoying as hell barbarian pirates, but took out Antarans? |
