At 12+ issues of 20 pages each per year, per 75 years in some cases, there's going to be a ton of well-written stuff. The biggest problem with comic book movies is that you have writers thinking they know better than the cream of 75 years of history. Of course they don't. At the same time, there is so much meddling that even if a talented writer did have a great original idea it's going to be mangled beyond belief.
Never would have thought that TV would be a better medium than film, but that's the way it is now.
