Damage indicators to tell you if a vehicle or person is more heavily armored.
Shorter white damage indicator on your crosshair for say resistant glass or if you're shooting at a tank with an LMG. The titan glass will all be destroyable, you can no longer hide behind it forever. Also most of the corridor walls going to the reactor core, so you can't hold off forever, and if you try to do it with a constant rain of explosives you'll just end up revealing yourself more, but LMGs will be able to take down walls after hundreds of shots, and that's what the short white damage indicator will indicate, it will not be too distracting though, it will be a much smaller damage indicator to show you that the thing you're shooting at can be destroyed after taking enough damage with assault rifles or LMGs or that kind of shit.
Player damage indicators will be bigger/normal sized, so you know you hit an actual person.
Critical damage indicators will be even bigger and red, like if you get a headshot, or if you blast a tank or a wall with a rocket or something. |
