Mario Kart AIs would rubberband when passed and had infinite stock special abilities. Pass Mario for 1st place and you are FUCKED because he will pluck a star out of his Italian asshole then proceed to fuck your face with it. Behind him and have red shell? STAR TIME MOTHERFUCKERS. The blue shell in later games is another example of the penalize-the-winner Mario Party random fuck-you mentality of the devs.


I haven't played the original in years, but I remember it as being plenty fair. From Mario Kart 64 and on there was way obvious cheating, but I don't remember that from the original. Once I got good at the game and played the courses enough I could absolutely destroy the AI on the highest difficulty, instead of being constantly hammered with unavoidable weapons to create a fake challenge and keep the race close.

But sure enough since a cop had radioed that he was going to drop a spike strip, he went flying by me at warp speed sending ripples through time allowing me to peer into the past to see dead relatives and that time Entropy Stew came out of the closet.

I came out of the closet long before that.

If you want to castigate BL2, at least do it for throwing in 50 fucking My Little Pony references.


Literally the only reason I made that post was to give you shit. I haven't noticed the My Little Pony references in Borderlands, but hopefully they're everywhere and I've just managed to remain blissfully ignorant of nearly everything about that show.
