I did. by Mischief Maker 08/19/2011, 8:30am PDT The importer I get my shmups from (an expat living in Japan) on is on vacation and while he's gone he's turned his store into a gallery of documentaries about Japan. LINK It didn't help that I watched Shinjuku Boys after the superior Great Happiness Space, but even if I hadn't I still would have been disappointed. Instead of focusing on the phenomena of straight women seeking out FtM transsexuals for companionship or even sex, it focused on the life of the transsexuals instead. Boring. We've got plenty of Trannies here in the US and all I learned from this movie is that they go through most of the same shit in Japan, too. Tell me about these freaking clubs! Interview the customers! Maybe this movie is just old and these topics were ground-breaking back then.
