Art School Confidential by fabio 06/06/2011, 7:28am PDT The best subculture satire ever made. From piece of shit like PCU to good ones like Office Space, most tend to blow all their jokes in the first act before falling back on some tacked on central plot and love story. ASC keeps the gags funny and constant. It never loses focus as the central plot and even the love interest all tie back into skewering the most useless people on the planet. It's amazingly cathartic for anyone who's ever had to sit through any kind of creative peer critique class. The only major flaw is the greek chorus friend character who shows up to spell out all the cliches for us when the movie was doing a fine job of showing us instead of telling.
