I mean I had one moment where the guy gave me a recipe, it wasn't in my quest log, it wasn't in my codex. Haha, it was in Morgain's Alchemy page! Though other than that, it's just Baldur's Gate, but harder, and with better crowd control tools. I think I started playing in the wrong order, and well, it is a fucking RPG. There are a million horrible decisions in every RPG (except the beautiful TES series, counting Fallout 3).
The one thing that keeps getting me more and more pissed as I got on is the backpack system. Apparently you can get a bank-type storage thing from the DLC, I mean if it was Dog Armor I'd buy it, but come on. It really picks up after a bit. The dwarf and elf places are great and most of the moral decisions aren't too gay. I still have a bit of game left, though it's warmed me up. |
