So that there's something left once the "novelty" of adventure gaming wears off by Lizard_King 11/08/2009, 6:46pm PST which happens about fifteen minutes in and bores you for the next decade or so. fuck retro. The elf forest was difficult but overall pretty fun once I restarted as a mage and focused around immobilization of enemies (force field is my new favorite spell for isolating bosses and minion elimination). After watching my wife slog through the mage tower on the xbawx, I think I'll give it a wide berth for as long as possible. I'd love a best 3/4 or Crackdown-like "the boss is more difficult if you don't do all of the missions before fighting him" alternative, because I don't know if I'm going to make it through this.
