Did you ever play the pre-Gold AVP? It had much funnier comm messages, where the ones in Gold are just ultra-campy. In the first message you get in Marine mission #1, the pre-Gold version had this guy stating with a dry chuckle that "the colonists shit a brick and bugged out", while he's replaced in the Gold version with this overacting faggot who's all like OH MY GOD THE COLONISTS THEY JUST FREAKED OUT AND LEFT THIS IS SERIOUS.
