In Bahrain the filtering is done by your ISP (Batelco?) so it is impossible to completely hide your activities from them. You'll always be running some risk but who knows how great of one. I think PROBABLY if you can workaround the filter then you'll be okay so long as your "buddy" or "helper" don't catch on and report you. But, as you say, Mars.
According to the Open Net Initiative's tests in Bahrain (from 2004 - may be outdated), you can work around the filter by leaving out the www part of the address. So try entering "whatever.com" instead of "www.whatever.com". Newer reports say that Batelco blocks proxies and VPN and TOR so I wouldn't bother wasting time on those.
Can you get a phone with a good browser on it? I don't know who the cellular carriers are over there but maybe they don't have the same filters in place. The screen will be smaller than what you're used to but you are a guy that knows how to adapt. It's also portable so that gives you even more incentive to hide in bathroom stalls!
If all else fails I'd suggest that you take this opportunity to really hone your imagination. Who knows what wonderful new scenarios you'll find yourself wanking to in a few months. You might learn a thing or two about yourself, QB!
