The Koreans will baby the hell out of you so there's no need to be frightened. They provide you a free furnished apartment, fly you over and back, and by the end of the year, you'll have saved $US20k working 20 hour weeks. This sounds like a good deal. I'm getting this money, how, now? Teaching English? Actually, I don't even care. I assume I'd get money for simply being American in a humid place, so that works. Also, not that I am paranoid or suspicious or speaking in sotto voce or anything, but just to confirm: we're talking South Korea, right? You'll have sex with young girls. If they don't approach you in bars, there are a million ads online for girls "looking for a friend to teach them English and have some fun". It also has the best prostitution system in the world. I know you think you're probably above that, but you will see. They will get you. There is a Louis C.K. bit about it, but honestly, I can only get excited by women these days, like, over the age of 30. If 45-year olds could have kids without my genes having to do overtime, I'd totally be into that. You don't have a mortgage or anything do you? Yeah, yeah, I've got all that crap. I'm gonna head over by July at the latest. I'm not sure we'd get on that well so I wouldn't rely on me being your friend. No, maybe we would! Hahaha, I don't know! We could play computer games!
