Yahtzee's angry that the new Prince of Persia isn't Sands of Time by Fortinbras 01/01/2009, 9:11am PST His key points: - Having a protagonist who is from the Middle East but talks like a spoiled British old money shithead is ethnically appropriate. Having one who talks like he came from the American Midwest is not. - Fighting the same enemy 25-30 times in a row until you've cleared out a room by using the same "jump over their head" move is rewarding gameplay combat. Having one-on-one combat where you string together combos and parry at the right times is not. - Quick Time Events suck, even when there's no penalty for fucking them up other than that the boss regains a small portion of their health. - The storyline was crap and the dialogue was crap and wah wah wah. It's a shame that they couldn't just reboot the entire storyline every fucking game like they did with Sands of Time and Warrior Within. It's fucking embarrassing to admit you think rendering the entire game a pointless exercise is excellent storytelling, but maybe Yahtzee thought Voyager was a good series too.
