They'd fucking jump everywhere or even reverse direction if you flicked them quickly, as in an FPS. Hasn't happened to me for years, though. Right now, I'm using a $40 MX400 Logitech laser mouse. It's not full of shit I don't use (fiddly little sensitivity buttons), and it has the two thumb buttons that I do.
