I dunno if he used time travel, or if GI is just in the past in terms of relevance, but boy does he not photograph well.


Is it Moby or Vin Diesel? Did someone fart? I imagine if you asked him what he was looking at in this picture he would say "Possibilities" and swallow the red pill and fly off into the sky. I really like the billing also, "The Vanguard", motherfucker makes one three hour game over the span of four years and he's suddenly the sole indie paragon who cannot be bought.

Now that I have the scan in front of me I think they might have just edited that, perhaps his jeans were as dirty as his window, maybe they got him to pose with a zapper in his hand and then he realized it would look stupid, also he might have just changed into a velour cat suit, I dunno.

My favorite reply from him follows, most of the other stuff is surprisingly douche free, and it's other shit like him still mincing about how much coke would be in his nose if he consulted rather than worked on the game all this time.

Jonathan Blow: It's unlike that I would ever reveal it. There's no need to. A lot of people out there have gotten major pieces. Everyone has their own interpretation of it(NUKES), but a lot of people have gotten major pieces of it. Some people have emailed me and they totally get it.(!!!!!) The other day, I got a five-page email and I said, "Yes, that's what this game is about." There are people that really understand it at a deep level. So it's not necessary for me to say in public what it's about.
