What would you do with all the extra time? It's a fucking jRPG. You are playing BECAUSE you want to grind. FF8 just gives you the option of adjusting the method and difficulty of grindan in-game, like if you could get XP in WoW for playing in the BGs or trading in the AH. jRPGs are all just Monster Rancher crossed with manga, and it's the Monster Rancher part that pisses you off? Also why the fuck would you try to do all grindan by card game, then not turn enemies into cards whenever possible, unless you wanted to make things maximally difficult for yourself. Which you can do because the game allows you ample room to create your own needlessly difficult or easy gameplay. Also, are you unaware that you can convert the cards into items and magic, meaning that you don't actually have to draw magic all the time? You can grind on random battles for exactly as long as it takes to get your GFs the AP for Card and Card/Item Conversion abilities, and then you're done with random battles for the rest of the game if that's what you'd like. Summon cutscenes being unskippable: this is true. What's your point: you want free, powerful, and instant summons? Max summons for everyone, game over. Please see point 1. See it's people like you who talk like faggots and whose shit is all fucked up. You and SB should go back to playing FF7.
