| What a great feature! Imagine Mr. Robin Walker asking his undead army of Chets to put this into TF2. First, they would snarl that they already DID (by accident) back in beta and that he made them "fix" it.
After a brief but intense battle, they would begin to snarl and claw at nerf-encrusted developer workstations. Snarling and clawing, clawing and snarling, until the feature was DONE!!! Kind of!!!! When a teammate left your view you would see a silhouette about 2/3 of the time. The other 1/3 of the time, all the walls would turn to wireframe. Since the bug is not "reliably reproducible", it would take a year to fix. It would turn out to be a strange interaction with the voice chat subsystem, so there would be a new menu option to let you choose between having silhouettes and having voice chat. |
