Their heads would disintegrate or explode, but not melt (too gross). Then the hand of God would emerge from the clouds to scoop up the ark and take it into heaven. Someone would ask what the heck was happening, and someone else would explain that it was the hand of God taking the ark back to heaven. Finally, a wedding!
