Actually (hmm) I think the reason people use multiple guitars is because different guitars sound different.
Ok, but that wasn't laudable's premise. He was pointing out the pain-in-the-ass multiple tunings in a set list present.
With the exception of Sonic Youth I don't think anyone keeps extra guitars around because of alternate tunings.
If you listened to music with keyboardless guitars in it, you'd know how wrong you are. |
