It sounds like DC approached Midway, and i can't really fault them for not turning DC away and drawing a map to Capcom Japan.

This is all for the best anyway, it's just the Jedi in Soul Caliber IV taken to the next level. Instead of 14-15 characters i don't care about and Voldo and Darth Vader, now we'll have a small core of 8 or so classic MK characters mixed with the DC guys. A little fat gets cut away and i'm spared the ongoing feud between the Black/Red Dragon clan and Liu Kang zombies. It's hard to judge a fighting game on it's storyline, but "everyone is alive again and then they fight" was a cry for help. DC's last fighting game had extreme Aquaman with goatee and spear hand, so they've nowhere to go but up. A little early to be making predictions but HOW GAY COULD THIS BE?

Speaking of, i can't wait for these sorts of games' longstanding tradition of new and unwanted, horrible original characters taking the place where fucking Reptile could be.
