Not a great film, though I did enjoy a scene of Lou Diamond Phillips doing loud, angry push-ups in his bedroom while his "parents" had loud, angry sex in the room directly above. Who's never been there, am I right? My boss recently told me that her son, now 15, "of course" went through the whole kill-your-father-marry-your-mother thing for a while... I often dream of having a machine that would choose and implement different facial expressions for me when I'm panicked. This would've been a perfect situation for the FaceMaker2000. Without the machine, I half-smiled and half-nodded, but I'm not sure if any underlying horror broke the surface. |
