One of these days I am going to finish Cho Ren Sha 68K (I think I came pretty close last time I tried), and as I do, some piece of me will be continually awaiting the thing that happens when you beat that game that you mentioned in some old game-linking post you made about it once, and when the thing actually happens it will be less cool because of that. Such is the price of paying more than the minimally necessary attention to supporting materials when you already know you are going to pursue the main piece of entertainment that is being promoted, whatever it may be. The same goes for blurbs on book jackets, previews in theaters, and more--at least for someone like me who has somehow swung into that particular (and slightly rabid) portion of the spoiler reaction continuum.
