...who doesn't install Counter-Strike Source? Are you the gayest man alive?
I decided to test this posit by playing some Counter-Strike: Source, and if mob opinion is of any value then yes... I am the gheyest man alive. I enjoy ghey sex with ghey things and various ghey objects, I spread the ghey willingly and knowingly, I've encountered the aura of ghey and gheyed myself up in order to wriggle around in unabashed, eyelash-fluttering gheyness. This, while others have had non-ghey sex with my mother and girlfriend (regretting letting her existence out, actually) while I very gheyly looked on and pleasured my ghey cock while camping.
Maybe I'm not playing on the right servers. I would love to have a positive experience with Counter-Strike.
This website has evolved into two camps: those that bought this ware through Steam and those that bought it at retail. And right now, those that bought it through Steam are looking at the rest of us like we're apes or monkeys or pets or something. Caltrops has beens split into a veritable human zoo, and those with the physical media carry our discs around (in five separate cheap paper sleeves) as a mark of pity. It won't wash off and we can't join the rest of you and if there was a large current of Steam-powered water coming to try to wash our shame away not only would it totally be unable to, but the resulting chaos would cause our five discs to be seperated and our manual reference card to be waterlogged, which would be horrible because we need our discs in the drive to play.
However!

However, I also heard that the HL2 install was going to take a while, as I religiously checked various message boards on Tuesday afternoon, and figured I could speed up the process by not putting CS:S on my drive. Ah, well. I get kicked out of HL2 after ten minutes, but at least the problem is with my system now and not the game. I still think the first HL2 mod that everyone ought to try put together is patching the installer.
