Would you care to tell us what you do for a living? Because, back in February, Fussbett and I had an IM convo that revealed a possible link between "liking TA" and "being underemployed":
Fussbett: Supreme Commander, an upcoming RTS from the maker of Total Annihilation (nerd jerk off), supports multiple monitors.
Ray: I know what Total Annihilation is
Fussbett: Ok, calm down!
Ray: supreme commander is a joke too, mark and I have a log about it [log excised]
Fussbett: I'm going to reserve my hatred from SupCom for a while, but here's a game I do hate: Total Annihilation.
Ray: yeah it's for nerds. I liked Kingdoms even though no one else did
Fussbett: Or as I call it, "the game with no resources".
Fussbett: All I remember was grinding out one more fucking solar whatever so that I could make one more FUCKING UGLY robot.
Ray: the huge nerd-moron in the tape room was always on about TA to me
Ray: "you can have over a thousand units!" like that is a plus
Fussbett: haha yeah 1000 units.
Fussbett: Being that I played C&C and Warcraft 2 at the time, I remember a guy selling that to me (working at the post office!)
Ray: exactly
Ray: the fans aren't just nerds, they're DUMB nerds
Fussbett: Then I go "Have we ever hit the unit cap in our C&C games?"
Fussbett: "No"
Fussbett: "What IS the cap on units in C&C?"
Fussbett: "Dunno. Less than a 1000"
Ray: tape room guy, when he wasn't talking about TA, was showing me his two concept sketches for the best video game ever
