There are so many damn issues with ammo, which could play into the constant tension of the game, but usually ends up with you using the enemy's crappy AK's and scrounging their corpses for the 30 bullets they drop. Thankfully the entire game can be easily modded. Sadly the merchant mods that would let me buy sniper rifle ammo either add every weapon in the game to their stores or are packaged with retarded anomaly hiding mechanics.
So, I'm going to push my way through the end game with ill gotten goods and a 150kg carrying capacity, then just sit around for some sort of Oblivion-esque community to rise up and address issues of ammo, loot, and lack of quests to keep me busy for five hundred hours. Hopefully that won't mean people spending all their time working on reality mods where my STALKER gets cancer from radiation and cirrhosis from the vodka. |
