1.001 solved all my problems (except lightning slowdowns (<-- OXYMORON?!)) by Fussbett 03/28/2007, 12:57pm PDT I think I just ran into a quest bug that wasn't letting me get out of the The Garbage, but after starting over with the patch I'm doing way better, even with my "armor" (a leather jacket!) degrading rapidly. Plus I'm playing the game in the MORE CORRECT order. I tried to make STALKER a little too freeform previously, and it turns out that it's actually pretty linear. :(
